My wife and I are regulars here because the food is good, the margaritas are delicious and the staff is usually pretty attentive. Today was the absolute worst experience I've ever had!
My wife ordered a strawberry margarita and the trio fajitas. I ordered a tequila sunrise and decided to try their new molcajete. We're given a basket of chips, which had maybe 10 chips, and the spiciest salsa ever. We asked for some more chips and some different salsa. My wife's drink cones out real quick, however there's a huge crack in the glass. Nobody did anything about it when we brought it up. I wait 20 minutes to get a water and my drink... Then comes the food after waiting for 40 minutes. (Not very busy either. Maybe 5 tables)
My wife's food was fine. Mine infuriated me. The hot stone bowl is bubbling like crazy and the shrimp in it have their shells still attached. I can't believe that they expect anyone to put their hands in a cauldron of spicy, hotter than hell sauce, to eat their food. When I told them about it, they said "that's just how it is. You should have ordered it with grilled shrimp." I told her that I've never had it before. I don't care how convenient it is to our home, I am never eating there again! The staff sucked. The food was dangerous and way too spicy to enjoy. Such a shame! -

I live right up the road from Fiesta Mexicana so you could say it is our go-to Mexican joint. It is usually a bit busier (from my experience) later on around 7-7:30. I typically order the chicken taco salad, chicken or carnitas tacos, or the carne asada super burrito. We order take out most of the time and it usually never takes more than 15 minutes. Staff is friendly and efficient, we never wait long for our meal or drinks. Definitely a staple restaurant in our community!
Don't forget to try the sopaipillas for dessert-- they are delicious! I choose to have mine without the chocolate drizzle and just cinnamon sugar. You won't want to share this dessert! -

My boss loves this place so one day after work, my boss, another co-worker (who likes this place), and me came here for dinner. I really wanted to like the place... but
First of all the service is horrid! Walking in we were told to sit at a dirty table and after we had sat down they wiped the table down and proceeded to brush crumbs into my lap. (super, super, super gross).
The waitress really did try, but from what I could see and from reading the other reviews, Fiesta Mexicana really has a problem with under staffing the waitstaff, she was the only person in the front of the restaurant. One person front of house during Margarita Happy Hour on a Friday Night is NOT ENOUGH! They are setting the poor waitress up for failure, I felt bad for her. That said getting silverware, napkins, water, refills, assistance tooooooooook a rather long time; moreover, we had to ask several times on occasion.
In regards to the food, the complimentary salsa smelled moldy and had a spoiled taste. We asked for another one, but while it smelled better, it still had a slight off putting taste. The Margarita however was ok - seemed a little watered down. The cheese enchilada was also ok - slightly bland but unlike many cheese enchilada's it wasn't swimming in oil. Food basically was mediocre.
Lastly, they didn't seem to have that many vegetarian opinions and little to no vegan options.
All in all, it was a let down for me.
